Prolific children's author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, the company has said. An official for the firm stated: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams." It has been reported that the conclusion was reached following an investigation into reports of inappropriate behaviour towards female individuals. The firm has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions." An Illustrious Publishing History Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies globally in dozens of tongues. His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008. Some of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films. His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works altogether, which features a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
