The surprise role-playing game from Sandfall Interactive won the prestigious Game of the Year award, along with honors for Superb Storytelling and Excellence in Visuals. Enhancing the developer's success, its talented performers also were honored with individual awards. Jennifer English won Best Lead Performer for her performance as Maelle, while Ben Starr took home Supporting Performance Award for his role as Verso. Additionally, Sandfall Interactive itself was named Best Development Team. Overall, Clair Obscur and its creative team won 7 awards during the event. Additional major winners included Ghost of Yōtei, which was awarded Best Audio Design and Best Console Game, and Hollow Knight: Silksong, honored with Top Self-Published Indie and PC Game of the Year.
