The Canadian skeleton team have been absolved of charges that they rigged a selection race for the upcoming Games, which allegedly denied competitors from other nations a spot to secure their place.

A prominent American athlete Katie Uhlaender accused the team from Canada of withdrawing four of its six entered athletes from a recent event in New York. “Existing federation regulations allow member nations to pull competitors from competition at any time,” declared the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF).
